Alicia & Sterling

A Colorful Spring Wedding at Vinterra

May 16, 2026 | Vinterra Event Venue | Bixby, Oklahoma

There are some weddings that are just as meaningful as they are beautiful, and Alicia and Sterling’s was exactly that.

From the beginning, they wanted their wedding to feel timeless and elegant while still being warm, joyful, and full of personality. We brought that vision to life with a spring color palette filled with soft blues, pinks, peaches, yellows, and whites, creating a day that felt bright and playful without losing that classic, elevated feel.

Alicia was a Full Service bride, which meant we had the privilege of being part of the process from the early planning stages all the way through the final moments of their wedding night. Getting to watch every little idea turn into the celebration we had spent months dreaming up with them made this one especially sweet.

Bringing Their Vision to Life

Color was at the heart of Alicia and Sterling’s design, but we wanted it to feel intentional rather than overwhelming.

We paired romantic spring florals with classic details and a light, airy foundation throughout Vinterra. Ever Something brought the palette to life through layers of blue, pink, peach, yellow, white, and greenery, from the arrangements lining the staircase to the florals filling the reception tables.

And then there was the floral chandelier.

Suspended above the center of the room, the installation became the focal point for both the ceremony and reception. It completely transformed the space and gave us that perfect combination of whimsical, romantic, and elegant that we wanted for the day.

A Ceremony Designed Around the Moment

Alicia and Sterling were married inside Vinterra’s Grand Hall, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

The ceremony design centered around the suspended floral installation, with additional florals framing the space and lining the staircase for Alicia’s entrance. With so much color incorporated into the wedding, we were intentional about keeping the overall ceremony design clean and elevated so every detail had room to stand out.

The result felt romantic, joyful, and completely them.

Meaningful Details Throughout the Day

Some of our favorite wedding details are the ones that wouldn't mean quite as much to anyone else.

Alicia and Sterling have years of history together, and Sterling proposed on their high school football field while the two watched a slideshow of photos from their relationship. Their wedding continued that same sense of intentionality, with personal touches woven throughout the celebration.

One of our favorites was Sterling’s groom’s cake, which Alicia surprised him with. The cake featured the logo for Push Push Pray, the foundation Sterling created after a football-related spinal cord injury left him in a wheelchair. His work through the foundation supporting others with spinal cord injuries made the surprise so much more than just a groom’s cake. It was a small detail with a very big story behind it.

From Ceremony to Celebration

After the ceremony, the Grand Hall transformed for the reception.

Abundant compote arrangements brought color across the tables while the suspended florals continued to anchor the room from above. The mix of classic reception details and playful spring color made the entire space feel polished without feeling overly formal.

Guests enjoyed dinner, celebrated Alicia and Sterling, hit the dance floor, and got to experience a wedding that felt just as welcoming as it looked beautiful.

This is always one of our favorite parts of Full Service planning. By the time the wedding day arrives, we've spent months thinking through not only what everything will look like, but how the entire day will flow. From the room transformation and vendor coordination to the timeline and all of the little details happening behind the scenes, our goal is for our couples to simply get to be the bride and groom.

Alicia & Sterling

Alicia and Sterling’s wedding was proof that colorful can still feel timeless, playful can still feel sophisticated, and the most beautiful weddings are the ones filled with details that actually mean something to the people celebrating.

We loved getting to dream up this day with them and watching months of planning come together into one incredibly special spring wedding.

And we will probably never stop thinking about that floral chandelier.
